Our 2023 rankings named New Mexico State University - Main Campus the best value school in New Mexico for computer science students working on their master’s degree. Las Cruces, New Mexico is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out master’s degrees to 17 students in 2020-2021.

The average tuition and fees for an out-of-state graduate students at NMSU Main Campus are $18,275 a year.

Some students may be able to take online graduate classes at NMSU Main Campus. In fact, around 50% of the graduate population registered for at least one online class in 2019-2020.

In addition to its best value ranking, and one of the reasons why the school is on the list, NMSU Main Campus is ranked #1 for overall quality in New Mexico.

The excellent master’s degree programs at University of New Mexico - Main Campus helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the best value computer science schools in New Mexico. Albuquerque, New Mexico is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out master’s degrees to 65 students in 2020-2021.

Out-of-state tuition fees for graduate students at UNM are $20,487 per year.

One thing to take note of is that UNM does offer online graduate classes in some areas. In 2019-2020 about 38% of the graduate students at the school chose to take one or more online courses.
