Our analysis found University of Illinois at Chicago to be the most popular school for computer science students who want to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Illinois. UIC is a very large public school located in the city of Chicago.

Of the 358 students majoring in compsci at UIC, 82% are male and 18% are female.

After completing their Bachelor's Degree, compsci graduates from UIC carry an average student debt load of $20,633. Assuming that a graduate chooses a 10-year repayment plan, the average monthly loan payment is $280.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Popular Computer Science Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Illinois list. Located in the small city of Champaign, UIUC is a public college with a very large student population.

Of the 306 students majoring in compsci at UIUC, 75% are male and 25% are female.
