To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Computer Science program at each school on the list.

Our analysis found University of California - Berkeley to be the most popular school for computer science students who want to pursue a doctor’s degree in the Far Western US Region . Located in the medium-sized city of Berkeley, UC Berkeley is a public school with a very large student population.

The in-demand doctor’s degree programs at Stanford University helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular computer science schools in the Far Western US Region . Stanford is a large private not-for-profit school located in the suburb of Stanford.

Of the 27 students majoring in compsci at UCLA, 93% are male and 7% are female.
