To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from schools with online programs.

Our analysis found University of Maryland Global Campus to be the most popular school for information science students who want to pursue an online undergraduate certificate in the United States. UMGC is a very large public school located in the suburb of Adelphi.

About 20% of the students majoring in IS at the school are women while 80% are male.

On average, IS graduates from UMGC take out $17,709 in student loans while working on their Undergraduate Certificate. The average monthly payment of a loan this size is about $139, assuming that the borrower is on a 10-year repayment plan.
