Our 2023 rankings named University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee the most popular school in the Great Lakes Region for information science students working on their bachelor’s degree. Located in the city of Milwaukee, UWM is a public college with a fairly large student population.

Of the 177 students majoring in IS at UWM, 82% are male and 18% are female.

While working on their Bachelor's Degree, IS majors at UWM accumulate an average of around $29,108 in student debt. For students who choose a 10-year repayment plan, the average monthly student loan payment is $129.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Illinois at Chicago. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Popular Information Science Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Great Lakes Region list. UIC is a fairly large public school located in the large city of Chicago.

Women make up 31% of the IS majors at the school.
