This report analyzed 35 schools in the Southeast Region to see which ones were the most popular master's degree programs for computer science students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Information Science program at each school on the list.

Tallahassee, FL

Our analysis found Florida State University to be the most popular school for information science students who want to pursue a master’s degree in the Southeast Region . Located in the midsize city of Tallahassee, Florida State is a public college with a fairly large student population.

Of the 108 students majoring in IS at Florida State, 22% are male and 78% are female.

A rank of #2 on this year’s list means Strayer University - Virginia is a great place for information science students working on their master’s degree. Strayer University - Virginia is a small private for-profit school located in the midsize city of Arlington.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Nova Southeastern University. It ranked #3 on our 2023 Most Popular Information Science Master’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region list. Located in the suburb of Fort Lauderdale, NUS Florida is a private not-for-profit college with a very large student population.

Kennesaw State University did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for information science students to get a master’s degree. It came in at #7 on the list. KSU Georgia is a very large public school located in the suburb of Kennesaw.

Of the 22 students majoring in IS at KSU Georgia, 45% are male and 55% are female.

University of South Florida - Main Campus did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for information science students to get a master’s degree. It came in at #8 on the list. USF Tampa is a fairly large public school located in the large city of Tampa.
