Of the 163 students majoring in IS at Texas A&M College Station, 52% are male and 48% are female.

A rank of #3 on this year’s list means The University of Texas at Austin is a great place for information science students working on their master’s degree. Located in the city of Austin, UT Austin is a public college with a fairly large student population.

About 69% of the students majoring in IS at the school are women while 31% are male.

The in-demand master’s degree programs at Southern Methodist University helped the school earn the #4 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular information science schools in Texas. Located in the large suburb of Dallas, SMU is a private not-for-profit school with a large student population.

Of the 116 students majoring in IS at SMU, 79% are male and 21% are female.
