This report analyzed 66 schools in New York to see which ones were the most popular programs for computer science students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Information Science program at each school on the list.

Our analysis found Syracuse University to be the most popular school for information science students who want to pursue a degree in New York. Syracuse is a very large private not-for-profit school located in the city of Syracuse.

The average amount in student loans that IS majors at Syracuse take out is $26,875. Assuming that a graduate chooses a 10-year repayment plan, the average monthly loan payment is $431.

Out of the 66 schools in New York that were part of this year’s ranking, New York City College of Technology landed the # 2 spot on the list. City Tech is a large public school located in the large city of Brooklyn.
