To assist you in seeing some of the education options that are available to you, Computer Science Degree Search has created its Most Popular Online Information Technology Associate Degree Schools ranking. This report analyzed 120 schools in the United States to see which ones were the most popular online associate degree programs for computer science students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from schools with online programs.

The colleges and universities below are the most popular for IT majors pursuing an online associate degree.

ECPI University

Virginia Beach, VA

Our analysis found ECPI University to be the most popular school for information technology students who want to pursue an online associate degree in the United States. Located in the city of Virginia Beach, ECPI University is a private for-profit college with a large student population.

Women make up 19% of the IT majors at the school.

After completing their Associate Degree, IT graduates from ECPI University carry an average student debtload of $24,971. For students who choose a 10-year repayment plan, the average monthly student loan payment is $114.

Indianapolis, IN

Out of the 120 online programs at schools in the United States that were part of this year’s ranking, Purdue University Global landed the # 2 spot on the list. Located in the small city of Indianapolis, Purdue University Global is a public school with a fairly large student population.

Of the 234 students majoring in IT at Purdue University Global, 74% are male and 26% are female.

The average amount in student loans that IT majors at Purdue University Global take out while working on their Associate Degree is $29,456.

The in-demand online associate degree programs at Community College of Baltimore County helped the school earn the #3 place on this year’s ranking of the best information technology schools in the United States. Located in the suburb of Baltimore, CCBC is a public school with a fairly large student population.

About 27% of the students majoring in IT at the school are women while 73% are male.

While working on their Associate Degree, IT majors at CCBC accumulate an average of around $19,284 in student debt.
