This report analyzed 47 schools in the Southeast Region to see which ones were the most popular online associate degree programs for computer science students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from schools with online programs.

Top 10 Most Popular Online Information Technology Associate Degree Schools
Our 2023 rankings named ECPI University the most popular online school in the Southeast Region for information technology students working on their associate degree. Located in the large city of Virginia Beach, ECPI University is a private for-profit school with a large student population.
Of the 462 students majoring in IT at ECPI University, 81% are male and 19% are female.
After completing their Associate Degree, IT graduates from ECPI University carry an average student debtload of $24,971. For students who choose a 10-year repayment plan, the average monthly student loan payment is $114.
A rank of #2 on this year’s list means St Petersburg College is a great place for information technology students working on their online associate degree. SPC is a fairly large public school located in the large city of Clearwater.
Women make up 13% of the IT majors at the school.

Out of the 47 online programs at schools in the Southeast Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Seminole State College of Florida landed the # 3 spot on the list. Seminole State is a large public school located in the city of Sanford.

IT majors at Seminole State take out an average of $18,341 in student loans while working on their Associate Degree.
Out of the 47 online programs at schools in the Southeast Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Trident Technical College landed the # 4 spot on the list. Trident Technical College is a fairly large public school located in the medium-sized city of Charleston.
Women make up 27% of the IT majors at the school.

Out of the 47 online programs at schools in the Southeast Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Central Georgia Technical College landed the # 5 spot on the list. CGTC is a moderately-sized public school located in the small city of Warner Robins.
