This report analyzed 12 schools in the Southeast Region to see which ones were the most popular online graduate certificate programs for computer science students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from schools with online programs.

Our 2023 rankings named American Public University System the most popular online school in the Southeast Region for information technology students working on their graduate certificate. Located in the town of Charles Town, American Military University is a private for-profit school with a very large student population.

Of the 38 students majoring in IT at American Military University, 68% are male and 32% are female.

Auburn, AL

Out of the 12 online programs at schools in the Southeast Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Auburn University landed the # 2 spot on the list. Located in the small city of Auburn, Auburn is a public college with a fairly large student population.

Of the 23 students majoring in IT at Auburn, 57% are male and 43% are female.

Memphis, TN

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Memphis. It ranked #3 on our 2023 Most Popular Online Information Technology Graduate Certificate Schools in the Southeast Region list. Located in the large city of Memphis, UofM is a public school with a fairly large student population.

Of the 18 students majoring in IT at UofM, 33% are male and 67% are female.
