Our analysis looked at 86 schools in the Middle Atlantic Region to see which associate degree programs were the most popular for computer science students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Information Technology program at each school on the list.

The following schools top our list of the Most Popular Information Technology Associate Degree Colleges.

Our 2023 rankings named Anne Arundel Community College the most popular school in the Middle Atlantic Region for information technology students working on their associate degree. Located in the large suburb of Arnold, AACC is a public college with a fairly large student population.

Of the 95 students majoring in IT at AACC, 71% are male and 29% are female.

Out of the 86 schools in the Middle Atlantic Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Montgomery College landed the # 2 spot on the list. Located in the city of Rockville, Montgomery College is a public college with a large student population.

Of the 94 students majoring in IT at Montgomery College, 72% are male and 28% are female.
