This report analyzed 11 schools in Minnesota to see which ones had the most popular online associate degree programs for computer science students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from schools with online programs.

Our 2023 rankings named North Hennepin Community College the most popular school in Minnesota for computer science students working on their associate degree. Located in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, the medium-sized public school awarded 25 diplomas to qualifed associate degree students in 2020-2021.
If you don’t receive financial aid, you can expect a bill for $4,882 to cover tuition and fees at North Hennepin Community College. The school does not offer an in-state discount. On average, associate degree students take out $24,520 in loans while pursuing their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 20% were women.
Of all the undergraduates enrolled at the school during the 2019-2020 academic year, around 86% took at least some of their classes online.

Alexandria Technical & Community College landed the #8 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular associate degree computer science programs. ATCC is a public institution located in Alexandria, Minnesota. The school has a small population, and it awarded 19 associate degrees in 2020-2021.
ATCC does not offer a discount to in-state students, so the average tuition and fees for all undergraduates is $5,910. This amount may be reduced if you receive financial aid. By the time they get their associate degree, students from this school have racked up an average of $15,116 in student loans. Of those students who received their degree, 11% were women.

Herzing University - Minneapolis came in at #9 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Online Computer Science Associate Degree Schools in Minnesota ranking.

Rasmussen University - Minnesota is located in St. Cloud, Minnesota and has a small student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 23 associate degrees to qualified students.
Rasmussen University - Minnesota does not offer a discount to in-state students, so the average tuition and fees for all undergraduates is $13,558.
