This report analyzed 11 schools in the New England Region to see which ones had the most popular online bachelor's degree programs for computer science students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from schools with online programs.

Our 2023 rankings named Southern New Hampshire University the most popular school in the New England Region for computer science students working on their bachelor’s degree. Located in Manchester, New Hampshire, the large private not-for-profit school awarded 1,051 diplomas to qualifed bachelor’s degree students in 2020-2021.
SNHU does not offer a discount to in-state students, so the average tuition and fees for all undergraduates is $15,380. This amount may be reduced if you receive financial aid. By the time they get their bachelor’s degree, students from this school have racked up an average of $31,825 in student loans. Around 19% of those degree recipients were women.

You’ll be in good company if you attend University of Maine at Augusta. The school came in at #2 on this year’s Most Popular Online Computer Science Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the New England Region list. JWU Online is one of the schools on our list that is primarily online. Each undergraduate student at the school took at least one class online.
Bay State College did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for computer science students to get a bachelor’s degree. It came in at #10 on the list. Located in Boston, Massachusetts, the very small private for-profit school awarded 1 diplomas to qualifed bachelor’s degree students in 2020-2021.
