Our 2023 rankings named University of Connecticut the most popular school in Connecticut for computer science students working on their bachelor’s degree. Storrs, Connecticut is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out bachelor’s degrees to 152 students in 2020-2021.
Students from Connecticut who attend UCONN full time pay an average of $18,524 in tuition and fees. Out-of-state students pay an average of $41,192. On average, bachelor’s degree students take out $22,048 in loans while pursuing their degree. Around 21% of those degree recipients were women.
One thing to take note of is that UCONN does offer online classes in some areas. In 2019-2020 about 99% of the undergraduate students at the school chose to take one or more online courses.
A rank of #2 on this year’s list means Yale University is a great place for computer science students working on their bachelor’s degree. Located in New Haven, Connecticut, the fairly large private not-for-profit school awarded 105 diplomas to qualifed bachelor’s degree students in 2020-2021.
