This report analyzed 23 schools in New York to see which ones were the most popular graduate certificate programs for computer science students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named Syracuse University the most popular school in New York for computer science students working on their graduate certificate. Syracuse is a private not-for-profit institution located in Syracuse, New York. The school has a large population, and it awarded 165 graduate certificates in 2020-2021.

On average, graduate certificate students take out $23,245 in loans while pursuing their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 47% were women.

One thing to take note of is that Syracuse does offer online graduate classes in some areas. Of all the graduate students enrolled at the school during the 2019-2020 academic year, around 31% took at least some of their classes online.
