Our calculations use out-of-state tuition and fees in our nationwide and regional rankings. For statewide rankings, we use average in-state tuition and fees.

Our 2023 rankings named Fox Valley Technical College the best value school in the Great Lakes Region for computer programming students working on their associate degree. FVTC is a fairly large public school located in the midsize suburb of Appleton.

FVTC undergraduate students pay an average of $6,861 in tuition and fees each year. Programming majors at FVTC take out an average of $18,255 in student loans while working on their Associate Degree.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Waukesha County Technical College. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Best Value Computer Programming Associate Degree Schools in the Great Lakes Region list. Located in the suburb of Pewaukee, WCTC is a public college with a moderately-sized student population.
