Our analysis looked at 62 schools in the New England Region to see which bachelor's degree programs were the most popular for computer science students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Computer Science program at each school on the list.

The following schools top our list of the Most Popular Computer Science Bachelor's Degree Colleges.

Our analysis found Massachusetts Institute of Technology to be the most popular school for computer science students who want to pursue a bachelor’s degree in the New England Region . MIT is a large private not-for-profit school located in the medium-sized city of Cambridge.

Women make up 37% of the compsci majors at the school.

The average monthly payment of a loan this size is about $682, assuming that the borrower is on a 10-year repayment plan.

A rank of #2 on this year’s list means Southern New Hampshire University is a great place for computer science students working on their bachelor’s degree. SNHU is a very large private not-for-profit school located in the medium-sized suburb of Manchester.

Of the 331 students majoring in compsci at SNHU, 83% are male and 17% are female.

CompSci majors at SNHU take out an average of $29,130 in student loans while working on their Bachelor's Degree.

Located in the suburb of Amherst, UMass Amherst is a public school with a fairly large student population.

About 15% of the students majoring in compsci at the school are women while 85% are male.

While working on their Bachelor's Degree, compsci majors at UMass Amherst accumulate an average of around $22,027 in student debt.
