Our analysis looked at 21 schools in the New England Region to see which bachelor's degree programs were the most popular for computer science students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Information Technology program at each school on the list.

Burlington, VT

Our 2023 rankings named Champlain College the most popular school in the New England Region for information technology students working on their bachelor’s degree. Champlain is a small private not-for-profit school located in the small city of Burlington.

About 16% of the students majoring in IT at the school are women while 84% are male.

IT majors at Champlain take out an average of $27,983 in student loans while working on their Bachelor's Degree.

Northfield, VT

The in-demand bachelor’s degree programs at Norwich University helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular information technology schools in the New England Region . Located in the distant town of Northfield, Norwich is a private not-for-profit college with a small student population.

Women make up 14% of the IT majors at the school.

IT majors at Norwich take out an average of $24,593 in student loans while working on their Bachelor's Degree.

A rank of #3 on this year’s list means University of Maine at Augusta is a great place for information technology students working on their bachelor’s degree. UMA is a small public school located in the distant town of Augusta.

Of the 28 students majoring in IT at UMA, 61% are male and 39% are female.

After completing their Bachelor's Degree, IT graduates from UMA carry an average student debt load of $27,647.

CCSU is a moderately-sized public school located in the large suburb of New Britain.

Out of the 21 schools in the New England Region that were part of this year’s ranking, New England Institute of Technology landed the # 4 spot on the list. Located in the suburb of East Greenwich, New England Tech is a private not-for-profit school with a small student population.
