This report analyzed 10 schools in the Middle Atlantic Region to see which ones were the most popular doctor's degree programs for computer science students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Information Science program at each school on the list.

About 77% of the students majoring in IS at the school are women while 23% are male.

The in-demand doctor’s degree programs at University of Maryland - College Park helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular information science schools in the Middle Atlantic Region . Located in the large suburb of College Park, UMCP is a public college with a very large student population.
