In 2018-2019, 33,399 information technology students received their degrees and certificates, making the major the #3 most popular in the country.

It's not easy to decide which computer science program to enroll in when you have so many options available. As online education oppotunities continue to grow, you're not restricted to just schools in your local area anymore. Even some of the 'big name' schools are offering online courses. Also, there are a number of trade schools with offerings that you might find attractive.

To assist you in seeing some of the education options that are available to you, Computer Science Degree Search has created its Most Popular Information Technology Associate's Degree Schools ranking. This report analyzed 519 schools in the United States to see which ones were the most popular associate's degree programs for computer science students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Information Technology program at each school on the list.

Our analysis found ECPI University to be the most popular school for information technology students who want to pursue a associate’s degree in the United States. Located in the large city of Virginia Beach, ECPI University is a private for-profit college with a fairly large student population.
