To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Information Technology program at each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named University of Maryland Global Campus the most popular school in the Middle Atlantic Region for information technology students working on their bachelor’s degree. UMGC is a fairly large public school located in the suburb of Adelphi.

Of the 322 students majoring in IT at UMGC, 75% are male and 25% are female.

After completing their Bachelor's Degree, IT graduates from UMGC carry an average student debt load of $25,792.

Out of the 65 schools in the Middle Atlantic Region that were part of this year’s ranking, John Jay College of Criminal Justice landed the # 2 spot on the list. John Jay is a large public school located in the large city of New York.

Of the 184 students majoring in IT at John Jay, 80% are male and 20% are female.

Wilmington University is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the suburb of New Castle.
