Our analysis looked at 302 schools in the United States to see which associate degree programs offered the best educational experiences for computer science students. To come up with a school's ranking, we analyzed numerous factors related to post-graduation wages, the quality of education offered by the school, average accumulated student debt, and more.

Our 2023 rankings named Middlesex Community College the best school in the United States for computer science students working on their associate degree.
Students from Massachusetts who attend Middlesex Community College full time pay an average of $6,048 in tuition and fees. If you are from out of state, expect to pay an average of $12,120. Chippewa Valley Technical College came in at #11 in this year’s edition of the Best Computer Science Associate Degree Schools ranking.
Students from Wisconsin who attend CVTC full time pay an average of $4,568 in tuition and fees. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $6,683. On average, associate degree students take out $20,208 in loans while pursuing their degree.

Herzing University - Akron came in at #14 in this year’s edition of the Best Computer Science Associate Degree Schools ranking.
